Elvin Siew Chun Wai travels back to Varanasi to discover the spirit of city

Elvin Siew Chun Wai has travelled to Varanasi numerous times. In fact, he is familiar with many lanes of the city. Elvin has travelled to numerous countries and he believes that India is the best. There is certainly something special about Varanasi that keeps me pulling back again and again. It is so exciting to experience the true spiritual atmosphere of Varanasi. Elvin Siew Chun Wai said in his vlog that he loves sailing on the River Ganges. Every ghat situated on River Ganges tells a story. Many ghats are hundreds of years old and they were built by kings and queens during medieval age.

The magic of ghats

One of my favorite experiences is spending time at the ghats, said Elvin. I can sit near the ghats for several hours. It is so exciting and at the same time very relaxing. Many Indians still follow the path of spirituality. You can find sadhus and sages who have renounced the world. Many pilgrims, priests and local residents start their day by taking a bath in the River Ganges. Elvin Siew Chun Wai said in his vlog that it was surprising for him to see the presence of many foreigners.

A cultural experience that is not available anywhere else

Elvin Siew Chun Wai said in Varanasi you can get experience that is otherwise not available anywhere else. There are so many local shops that serve good food in the narrow lanes. The desserts and sweets of Varanasi are famous all around the world. There are many ancient temples in Varanasi. Foreigners always get a welcoming environment.
